Dear Fellow LGUSD Parents,
Los Gatos is a community that cherishes quality education for its children. One Community LG (OCLG) was formed in 2020 to enhance educational opportunities for Los Gatos children due to insufficient state funding.
Without OCLG funds, our children would only have access to the state minimum core curriculum. Thanks to OCLG and the support of our parent community, our children now receive an education that rivals private institutions – including excellent teachers, art, science, technology programs, music for all grades, PE teachers, librarians, classroom supplies, and more.
In line with the LGUSD Strategic Plan, OCLG has expanded our children's education by funding STEAM TOSAs (Teachers on Special Assignment) and a world language program, providing Spanish to Transitional Kindergarten through 5th-grade students.
